The owner and his family are super friendly and helpful.
The breakfasts were incredible, with huge spreads that were beautifully prepared.
For the price, it's an absolute steal - we'd definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone.
The location is perfect and quiet, with a nice pool to relax by.

Anil and his family gave us a fantastic welcome, with Anil arranging our three‑day itinerary—Dambulla caves, Pidurangula rock, the lion rock, the lake and a Minneriya safari guided by Sandun, who was excellent. He was flexible with timing and took great care to ensure everything ran smoothly. After a day of hiking the pool was a real treat. His wife and daughter served outstanding dinner and breakfast, changing the menu daily so we tried many Sri Lankan specialties, and there are plenty of other eateries nearby. They have promising plans to expand the hotel. It was the best hospitality we experienced all trip—Alé alé!
“Gran familia, te ayudan en todo, la mujer cocina de 10 el mejor rice and curry de mi vida! Para mí amigos!”
The whole family, cleanliness and facilities. Nothing—everything was perfect.
“Amazing place !”
The family who owns this place is super kind and the place is amazing; you can swim in the pool while monkeys jump around you. The breakfast is amazing!
We were received very warmly. The family also assisted us in arranging a safari. Whenever we had an issue, help arrived immediately and the owners were very accommodating. The location is a bit outside, but a TukTuk gets you into the city quickly! We would recommend it! The only downside was that it would be nice to have rules for the pool loungers. Otherwise everything was top!
We stayed as a large group of six adults and four children in a bungalow. The setting is wonderfully rural and gives the whole place the charming feel of a small farm—absolutely delightful for the kids! Because of the jungle nearby, wild monkeys even leapt onto the house in the mornings. The facilities are somewhat still developing in places, but entirely adequate. Very well solved: besides the air conditioning, there were ceiling fans (perfect for the night, since the AC can be too cold) and mosquito nets hung over every bed. Food & hospitality: the included breakfast was super tasty and plentiful. In the evenings, the daughter cooked for us (she is a trained cook) – her traditional dishes were absolutely fantastic and could be made quite spicy on request! The father and owner is personally helpful. He drove us around the area for about 50 km over three days—whether to Lion Rock, the city, or a beer shop 3 km away. Even with his pickup jeep, he took all of us 10 at once, and with the house’s TukTuk I even got to drive a round myself. For two dinners and all the rides, we paid just under 50 € for my four‑person family in total—more than fair for the effort!
