The breakfast room/winter garden was appealing, bright, and the breakfast was sufficient, though it wasn’t suitable for vegetarians or vegans. The mattresses were very uncomfortable, the bedspreads and pillows were old, sweat‑stained down‑feather blankets and pillows. The toilet seat was cheap, both visually and in comfort. The shower cabin was cramped, the lower seams were yellowed and partly moldy. The room door creaked when opening and closing. The key was huge. The floral arrangement on the breakfast table was wilted and flies kept coming out.
