The location was good, and the new caretaker was friendly, so I could relax. I think the caretaker still has a lot of maintenance tasks to tackle, and I’m looking forward to my next visit to see how things improve—keep it up!

Pros: Excellent transport links, walking distance to nearby shops and sights. The interior of JPG has a cozy, traditional Japanese wooden feel, and the public spaces are spacious and comfortable. The location of the Keita‑bani CUE Inn is very convenient, close to the station and shopping street, making walking trips easy. Cons: The room is on the second floor with no elevator, so carrying large luggage or ski gear up and down is inconvenient. The bathroom and toilet facilities are limited, so queues form when it’s busy, making use a bit cramped. Overall, it suits travelers who value location and tight schedules over high‑end bathroom amenities.

The hotel is near the station. The bath water didn’t come out; the temperature control seemed broken. My daughter and grandson had to wash themselves with water because we couldn’t use the bath, and the staff were absent, so nothing could be done. I fell ill and had to leave halfway through my plans. I thought it was a renovated guesthouse in an old house, but it turned out to be just an old house being rented as is.
