The breakfast spread was delicious with a huge buffet selection, and dinner offered three plated options presented elegantly plus an additional buffet. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room’s bed was very comfortable, the bathroom spacious and the balcony generous. Free parking was available right in front of the hotel. The spa area featured a 140 cm pool, a Finnish textile sauna and a relaxation room, while one floor up there were adult‑only saunas (non‑textile) – one steam, one bio, one Finnish and one salt – plus two lounge rooms with comfy loungers and a large terrace. On the ground floor a gaming room offered foosball, billiards and computers (games cost €1).
The accommodation was very nice, a beautiful new hotel with great service; the tourist pass was included in the price, though I’d appreciate a wider range of uses beyond just the hotel’s cable car. Still, the hotel was very good and this bonus is always appreciated. Dinner was beautifully presented, though portions were smaller, but the experience and taste made up for it—really high level. The hotel has a stunning adults‑only wellness area with several saunas, which I liked because it was only accessible to adults. The pool was pleasant but very crowded with children, so it wasn’t very relaxing. Free parking at the hotel was an advantage. The pool wasn’t very quiet because it was mainly for children, but that isn’t a drawback and I think families with kids will appreciate it. I appreciated the longer opening hours for the wellness area and the pool.
