The house was lovely, and the hosts welcomed us warmly, going out of their way to meet our needs; nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was first rate, but there wasn’t any hot water in the evening.

After a long journey, we were greeted warmly and offered a cold drink on a 35○C day, which was unexpected but very welcome. We sat outside in a lovely garden to relax, and Amanda managed to book a table at the local pub (1 minute walk) even though it was fully booked. The food was stunning and the staff very friendly. Amanda and David were so accommodating, even giving 4 of us a lift to our venue the following day as taxis were scarce. Breakfast was whatever you wanted, but I particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit and yoghurt before the order.

The hosts were wonderful, accommodating and flexible, and the breakfast was superb. The setting and garden were beautiful, and the village was lovely. It was all wonderful.
