I stayed in a stunning historic building that kept its original charm and offered solid, well-maintained facilities. The bathroom was modern and spotless. The old inn itself was lovely, with a beautiful beer garden. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Breakfast was excellent, served in another historic annex. The location was unbeatable in the city center, ideal for anyone who loves a historic atmosphere. The food was generous and tasty. There was nothing to complain about.

The place was cozy. However, the entrance was not suitable for older guests, and the procedure was not clearly explained. The team ignored my emails, and the breakfast we had agreed on was not provided, forcing me to pay extra. That ruined the overall quality of the stay.

The waterbed mattress was already very old and uncomfortable. I barely managed to get out of bed because it sank so deep.

We stopped in Plauen and this accommodation fit us perfectly. The highlight was definitely the attached restaurant with a gorgeous courtyard and excellent food. Public paid parking is nearby. The location is central in Plauen’s old town. We received a free Genius upgrade to waterbeds, but one of the mattresses was clearly underfilled, making sleep a real pain even without back problems. Due to staff shortages, no breakfast was offered – but there are fantastic options right next door.
