Everything was fine. The room was spacious, but the hot water was unreliable – sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t, or you had to wait a long time for it to heat up. Breakfast cost up to $20. Parking was adequate. The beach was just a 5‑minute walk away, which was very convenient.

The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the showers were nice and hot. However, for a few days the staff were very unhelpful. When I asked where we could get coffee because we missed theirs, they shrugged and said “I dunno, I don’t think so…”. The coffee that finally arrived was awful. I’m not from here and didn’t know where anything was.

The first person I met at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful, really selling the place and going above and beyond—she definitely deserves a raise. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the location was great, and I appreciated that parking was free. On the downside, the parking spot was far away and out of sight, and I had to pay for breakfast even though most hotels offer continental for free.
