The stay was fantastic: the bed was incredibly soft, the AC and shower worked flawlessly, and the dinner you could buy was delicious. We were given clear directions to the place—thanks to a guide we paid for. The only gripe is that the guide’s fee (10 OMR, about 25 €) wasn’t included in the room price; it felt odd to pay extra for something that should have been part of the stay.

The property matched the photos exactly—a modern desert oasis that was clean and comfortable. The host kept the lines of communication open, replying quickly on WhatsApp and checking in frequently. As a solo traveler, I felt safe throughout my visit.

The location is great, isolated right on the dune with hardly any other camps nearby. It’s easily reachable with an all‑wheel‑drive car on low tyre pressure. The facilities are modern and well‑equipped, with a beautiful, clean bathroom. Breakfast and dinner were good. The dune bashing and private camel tour were fantastic. The only downside was that the driver didn’t speak English during dune bashing, so we couldn’t ask questions about the process, but that wasn’t a big deal. Everything else was perfect.

Incredibly beautiful and romantic—truly unforgettable and a must‑visit on any Oman trip. Finding the route through the desert was easy: just enter the coordinates into your phone and it shows the way. Every gas station before the desert adjusts the tyre pressure so you can drive through. The only complaint is that there’s no hair dryer, and a second towel per person would have been helpful.
