The spot was great, the host was very kind, there was plenty of gear, and the bed felt very comfortable. I booked a room for three nights, yet most dorms were empty during my stay; I would have liked to be offered a bed in an unused dorm or the room I had planned to take, though perhaps that wasn’t possible because I booked through Booking. The floor in my room was noticeably dusty, and a quick sweep before my three nights would have been appreciated.

“Lovely chill hostel with huge common spaces and rooms.”

The front desk was welcoming and the place had everything a backpacker could need: solid Wi‑Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious common areas, and a quiet spot. The only downside was that the shower tiles required a cleaning.

I loved the beautiful kitchen and dining area, which had all the basics for cooking. The staff stayed until nearly 2 am to check us in, as a few of us were arriving on the ferry from Prince Rupert. The room felt a bit cramped and the bed was too bouncy—any shift or movement would shake the whole thing, but it was tolerable for just one night.

There was no breakfast, but the cost was reasonable.
