The inn has a rustic vibe. The room I stayed in felt small—two people is a lot. However, on the floor above there’s a covered mezzanine with tables. The ground floor kitchen is fully equipped; it’s not a five‑star kitchen, but you can prepare a meal without trouble. It’s clear the place isn’t new and some guests have already cooked there, but on a scale from 1 to 10 I’d give it a 7. The inn is in a village next to Horezu, so you can’t walk to the store unless you’re willing to spend three hours on foot. Still, for a one‑night stop on a detour route, it’s a good spot.

The owner speaks English very well, is incredibly polite and friendly, and the place has a wonderful atmosphere.

We really liked the welcome; the hostess is very nice and helpful. The location is also excellent, close to monasteries and mountain hikes, very quiet with clean air. The rooms are well equipped, comfortable, and clean. We had a great time and nothing to complain about!
