Tempat tidur 6.5/10 · disebut oleh 5 tamu
The cabin’s location is amazing, and the fireplace makes it cozy with everything you need. On the first night, we only had enough bed sheets for one person even though we had booked and paid for two; one of us had to sleep on a towel without a blanket. The communication was unclear: we were told we could pick up the bedding at reception, but we weren’t told the opening hours or that reception closes at 7 pm, so by the time we arrived it was already closed. The next morning we had to delay our hike to get our sheets. The staff hadn’t been informed that we would pick them up and wanted us to pay again, leading to a long and frustrating discussion. All of this could have been avoided if the host had taken better care in advance. Also, the shower runs out of hot water after 5 minutes. In short: nice place but frustrating experience.
“Heerlijke tijd gehad!”
The surroundings are beautiful, but it was a bit tight for four people.
“verblijf was verder sober maar prima en schoon”
The location is close to walking areas. The shop opens at 9 am, and there are no fresh rolls if you want to buy bread the day before taking the boat to the Besseggen hike.
This spot is great if you’re planning a morning hike to Besseggen, which is definitely worth it! The cottage itself is nice and well‑equipped, set in beautiful nature, but you have to pay extra for pillows, duvets, and bedding, making it the most expensive place on our trip.
“Fint overnattingssted med nærhet til masse turer, men har noen forbedringer.”
The location is good. There was no dish soap, but we sorted that with reception. The kitchen sink lacked a stopper, so we had to wash dishes in a bucket. We only had three regular drinking glasses, though we were four guests, so we should have had at least four.
