“Safe place to be.”
The staff were welcoming and friendly, and otherwise I enjoyed my stay. I couldn’t access the balcony.

The staff were friendly and courteous, the food was good, the value was solid, and the bed was very soft. The constant drone of the eternal beer drinker and the loud, obnoxious, rude voice that drowned out the pleasant din of Pattaya were annoying—he never seemed to stop talking.

The main problem was significant noise from traffic and bars in some rooms.

I love everything about this house, especially the owner and the staff; everyone is incredibly kind. No complaints.

It was decent for the price, though the bed felt a bit too hard 🤭. I stayed two weeks, then returned for two more nights after my BKK flight was cancelled. I understood Thai standards differ from Switzerland and had no major issues, even accepting several days without water. But on the last two nights, construction workers started drilling right outside my window early in the morning. I asked politely if they could postpone the work, but nothing changed. I then spoke to reception and requested a 3:00 PM checkout; I was told it would be possible and that I wouldn't have to pay extra because of the noise. I appreciated that and thought the hotel was handling it fairly. At 12:45 PM, someone knocked aggressively on my door and demanded I check out. When I explained the agreement, I was suddenly asked for 500 baht. No receipt was provided and this was not what was agreed. Shortly before 3:00 PM, reception asked me for the same 500 baht. After explaining again, they reduced it to 300 baht—still without a receipt. I was simply tired of arguing and paid the 300 baht. It felt more like an unofficial personal tip than a proper hotel charge. After staying two weeks and returning because my flight was cancelled, I expected better communication and treatment. The hotel itself was not the main problem; the way this situation was handled by the staff at the end was what really disappointed me.
