I liked that it was close to shops and our event, and the hotel team was very kind and helpful. There was a strong mold odor—you really have to sleep with the windows open, otherwise you can’t breathe. The windows were also very dirty. Note that the rooms are mostly twin rooms (two separate beds) rather than double rooms, which I didn’t realize when booking. The cleaning was inadequate: I found hair in the bathroom and rust on the toilet, indicating it wasn’t disinfected at all. The mattresses were terrible—my back hurts because they’re too soft and low quality.

The place was very quiet, check‑in was flawlessly organized, the staff were friendly, and they were flexible enough to re‑book a room on the spot. There was nothing to complain about.

“Einfaches, sehr gut gelegenes Hotel”

The accommodation’s spot in Derendorf is excellent—close to the fair and the city, with a tram stopping right outside the door, and the staff were very pleasant. Overall, it was a decent, average hotel.

“Schönes kleines Hotel, sehr gut gelegen, mit freundlichen Pesonal.”

The spot was great because the tram stops directly in front of the hotel, making it easy to reach all major sights and the football stadium by public transport. My room was in the cooler side wing, but it had neither air conditioning nor a fan, which was painfully missed on one of the hottest days of the year.
