Overall, an exceptional stay! We genuinely enjoyed our time here, and the hospitality in particular made it feel extra special. The hotel is in a lovely, quiet part of Asakusa. The bus stop is just a few minutes’ walk away, while the nearest metro station is around a 15‑minute walk. At the same time, many of Asakusa’s main sights are within walking distance, so we found the location very convenient for exploring the area and other areas of Tokyo while still being able to come back somewhere peaceful at the end of the day. The room A little note about the beds: they are definitely on the firm side, some might even call them hard 😄, but I personally love that kind of bed and slept incredibly well. My sister was less of a fan, so I would say this is very much a matter of personal preference rather than a negative. The room itself had all the basics we needed, including thoughtful little details like slippers, toothbrushes and a kettle. I saw some reviews mentioning that there aren’t enough tables or places to put things, but we personally didn’t have any issues with the space. That said, there were only two of us, so perhaps that makes a difference. And a special mention for the bathroom amenities: the shampoo, conditioner and body wash were amazing! Facilities & thoughtful extras There is a washing machine available for guests, with detergent provided, as well as a dryer. The whole washing/drying adventure takes roughly 1.5 hours, which was very convenient during a longer trip (and available 24/7!) Instant coffee is also provided, and you can pick up bottles of water on the first floor. These may sound like small things, but they were such cute and thoughtful touches and made the stay that little bit more comfortable. Quietness We stayed on the 5th floor and had absolutely no issues with noise. You can occasionally hear a car passing on the street, but it never bothered us at all. Overall, we found it very peaceful. Nothing to say.
