The hospitality was very friendly, the herbal tea was delicious, and the room was comfortable. The location was ideal for exploring the area by car, and the courtyard parking worked well, though street parking was also convenient.

A very nice pension with a convenient location, close to Slovacky Raj. The room was clean and tidy, well equipped, with a fridge and kettle. The kitchen had all the utensils you could need. The owner was extremely helpful and made a great breakfast. I strongly recommend the place :) Everything was great :)

The staff were very kind, friendly, and willing to help, offering very useful advice about the area. 👍👍👍 I prefer a firmer mattress, but 100 people – 100 tastes.

“Wonderful hosts, comfy rooms at a great value”

I was visiting Slovakia for the first time with a guide/translator, and booked the family suite so each of us had our own private sleeping space and a shared balcony. The rooms were huge, the beds were so comfy I collapsed each night and fell asleep staring at the gorgeous pine ceiling. We could have brought our spouses and still had plenty of room. The owners and their sons were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and we had a safe spot to park our rental car behind the gate. If you’re there in the warmer months, check out their beautiful English garden – they’ve clearly put a lot of effort into it! Unfortunately I can’t comment on breakfast because my guide wanted to hit the road early, so we told them not to prepare anything. Still regretting that decision – LOL. I would definitely book again for a safe, quiet, and comfortable retreat. The bathroom was very clean but a bit outdated; I was surprised there were no basic bath amenities like shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Luckily I brought my own, but I usually don’t when I travel overseas. There was no hair dryer in the room, but they delivered one right away when we asked. We were given one bath towel each, and they were pretty worn. I would have liked a newer, thicker bath towel and a hand towel and washcloth for each guest. I think all of these would be provided if requested in advance – definitely not a deal‑breaker.

The location and nearby options were good, close to a pizzeria. In the bathroom of the room we stayed in, a strong odor from waste lingered; when I asked the host, he simply said that several people had complained about it. After a night‑time agreement about breakfast, we were given something completely different without asking if we were interested. The reason given was that he hadn’t brought a sandwich that morning.
