Highland Rooms was wonderful! The location is great for walking to the center of Ullapool. The hosts were amazing and took time to acclimate us to the place. It was the best bed we slept in on the whole trip! The room was beautiful and the bathroom had a lovely free‑standing tub in addition to a great shower. Having a breakfast option would be nice but it’s not a deal breaker.

We had plenty of room with a bedroom and extra sitting area—lovely view from the window and skylight, the bed was so big and comfortable, and the host gave a warm welcome and dinner recommendations. The shower facilities were lovely too! Parking on the property was easy. The only issue was that getting bags up the steps is always a bit of a challenge, as is common with many other properties we’ve found.
