“Une belle fin de semaine !”

The room was clean, the bathroom brand new and well maintained. I was pleasantly surprised, the lunch was excellent and the staff were smiling and on top of their duties! We will certainly return!

The staff were friendly and the place was clean, but the price was far too high for what it offered and the beds were completely uncomfortable.

“Je ne sais pas trop quoi en penser ni quoi en dire .....”

I liked that the hotel was close to my event and the continental breakfast was decent, and the staff were very friendly; however, as an asthmatic, the carpet odor was terrible – my partner had to sleep in the car for both nights because the smell made his lungs feel “jammed,” he kept coughing and tried to open a window for fresh air but the windows don’t open, the air‑conditioning ran but didn’t bring in fresh air, and the carpet smell was overwhelming as soon as we entered the room. At $195 per night I found it far too pricey for what it was, especially compared with the renovated rooms at Castel de Granby, and it seemed like there might even be asbestos. I heard someone compare it to the hotel in “The Shining.” We suspect an oil leak from the air‑conditioning because it left a fine film on the skin when sleeping near the unit. I stay in many hotels and Airbnbs throughout the year, so I won’t be returning.
