“מה שאפשר לצפות ממלון חמישה כוכבים ולא מעבר”
The hotel was excellent, even though our room felt a bit cramped. The shower had a dreamy flow and the bed was comfortable—everything one could expect from a five‑star hotel. However, because our simple room cost more than a suite at the second‑most expensive hotel in Prague, we arrived with sky‑high expectations that were not fully met. At that price I’d have chosen much better hotels worldwide. There was no sense of generosity or special goodwill. We got everything a hotel of this level should provide, but nothing extra. For instance, there was a small chocolate on the kitchen counter next to the water, and it was pricey. Breakfast was decent but far below the culinary level that would justify the price. When we asked a staff member about a specific attraction, he sent us to the internet instead of helping us book it. The hotel’s shuttle service was supposed to be free or discounted, yet it was more expensive than an external taxi. There were many such examples. It wasn’t a malfunction; we were simply used to better standards elsewhere.
