“Ended up only staying one night and finding a different hotel”
The location was good, but there was no AC and the breakfast was poor.
“Very basic and feels very budget”
The location is great, right across from the beach with a nice balcony. Breakfast wasn’t bad, but there were no hot items. The staff were unfriendly and virtually absent at reception; they ran out of coffee and water. The pool was in need of repair and looked run down. The room was very basic, lacking cups, coffee-making facilities, and even a refrigerator.
The breakfast was just cereal 😞
“Mold hotel”
The curb appeal looked okay, but the place smelled like mold and the paint was bad; it seems the property wasn’t checked before they let you use the name.
“DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE”
I was only drawn here because it’s close to the beach, but the place was a nightmare. The hotel was filthy, the second floor had a strong dog‑pee smell, and none of the ice machines on any floor worked. The hot tub was broken, mold was everywhere inside, the pool’s interior was shattered with sharp glass‑like shards that could cut kids, and the pool room was scorching hot. There was only one elevator, so I had to wait 30 minutes or climb the stairs, but parking was cramped and the stairwell had no door knob, forcing me to walk all the way around the hotel to get inside instead of using the stairs on the first floor, unless I wanted to wait in a hot parking garage filled with cigarette butts and trash. At check‑in, the front desk lady barely paid attention, handed us a key, said the room was on the third floor, but the number she gave didn’t exist; we discovered the room was actually on the second floor. After a long drive, I tried to shower, but the water took 10 minutes to heat, and another guest opened the door and saw me naked because the front desk attendant had already given the wrong key to someone else. When we confronted the desk, they said it wasn’t their problem. After re‑enabling our key, the shower still took 10 minutes to warm up, and the bathtub started filling because the drain was clogged. The next day’s breakfast was just banana cereal or store‑bought muffins. We asked the attendant if they had fixed the room issue, and the lady assured us it was resolved, even though the other guest had only stayed there for a day.
