The host was exceptional, the place was great, and there was nothing to criticize except the £10 a night parking fee, which bothered me a lot. Otherwise it was absolutely brilliant. The £10 a night parking charge is understandable and optional; you can park for free just down the road, but a nice car in a bottle isn’t really an option.

I slept soundly in a comfortable bed with a modern ensuite. Breakfast was excellent, featuring premium coffee to start the day. Karl communicated superbly from beginning to end. This is the kind of place you’ll return to again and again.
