The staff were super helpful and lovely, and I felt very welcomed; the coffee machine at reception is a great touch and everything was easy, with no stairs. Great! I only wish there was a gym.

The rooms were modern and quiet, but the first night was a bit chaotic when a group of young people threw a party and smoked in the rooms, forcing the ventilation to kick in and spreading the smell throughout the rooms, including ours. The staff showed compassion and asked us to accept their apologies.

The location was good and the place was clean, yet cleaners entered our room at 9am before we had even checked out. We left for a coffee, then got a call from the hotel saying they had moved our stuff out of the room. I’m not sure why they would do that before 10am. We still had the room cards and hadn’t told anyone we were leaving early. This is very unusual; it’s never happened to us anywhere else in the world.

The location was quiet and close to shops, but it would be nice if natural cleaning products were used because the chemical smell in the rooms was too strong.
