The managers’ welcome, the room’s cleanliness, the location near the rice paddies, and the option to rent bikes and scooters were all great. Nothing to complain about – it was all good.

The staff were incredible and the location amazing. The price offered great value, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

The room had a lovely view, was spotless and breezy, and with only three shared bathrooms we never had to wait. The owner was extremely helpful, always ready with suggestions for places to visit; thanks to him we learned about a waterfall even nicer than Gò Lào and a nearby hot‑spring stream (though we ran out of time to go). One morning we grabbed a simple breakfast of toast with fried egg and a banana, which was fine. If you want lunch or dinner at the restaurant, book ahead so the owner can prepare; we didn’t reserve and ended up eating elsewhere, though the owner pointed us to a nearby spot that, despite being a bar, serves decent rice dishes—unfortunately the menu didn’t feature any local specialties during our visit. With the price we paid, the overall experience far exceeded what we expected, so there isn’t much else to add.

A great spot with a beautiful view over the rice fields. Excellent value‑for‑money homestay.

This was my first stay in a Vietnamese home, so it felt like a lifetime experience. I arrived around 10:00 PM with my father, and we set up the overnight stay together. It was lovely. The beds upstairs are separated by curtains; you sleep directly on the mattress, with a flysheet hanging over it and a towel provided. I loved everything! The stay was comfortable, but breakfast was sparse, even though neighboring hotels offered better breakfasts at lower prices – that’s just a personal preference.
