The room was comfortable and the location was good, but it was a bit noisy; the rooms were fine but a mirror would have been useful. Breakfast was acceptable, just a continental spread. There was no parking; I was told to park on the road and ended up getting a ticket.

The staff were friendly, Del was very welcoming, and the location is great in a beautiful area.

I was assigned room 3, which turned out to be nice and spacious with a large bed and a modern walk‑in shower. When I arrived, I couldn’t locate a hotel car park and was told to use a village “free” car park about 250 metres down a hill; the hotel had advertised parking that it clearly didn’t have. Because I have walking mobility issues, the cobbled street back up the hill was a poor experience.

The village was lovely and the scenery was fantastic, but the room was awful and dirty, showing that the place needs money spent on it. The overall condition was shabby and outdated.

The pub had a classic atmosphere and the village was great to explore with no crowds. I couldn’t get a table for a pub meal because Saturday was busy.
