The room was clean, but I still haven’t received my deposit back.

I didn’t like that when I booked the rate was different from what they charged—almost double per room—and we had to wait many hours to check in; the pool was under renovation, the hotel was partially under construction, and the lobby service was subpar; I won’t return and hope they refund the extra charge beyond the deposit.

They canceled my reservation upon arrival, forcing me to scramble for another hotel.
