The reception was very nice, helped me upgrade my room and kept my belongings safely—thanks to Mr. B, if I’m not mistaken. Everything else was great. The floor was a bit dusty and there was some trash under and behind the sofa.

It’s literally opposite Queensbay, so it’s really close. The room size is decent and clean. The hotel’s proximity to a restaurant means cooking smells and the sound of people opening doors can disturb your rest.

The location and price are worth it. I stayed here a year ago in a double room that felt a bit small with luggage; this time I chose a family room, which was larger, and booked three rooms. Two of them didn’t have a chimney, but that was fine for a day. One room was over the check‑in time (waiting for cleaning); the same issue happened a year ago, so that needs improvement. Overall it was good. The rooms had no chimney, which I didn’t notice when booking. There are many light switches, which is a bit confusing.
