The proximity to the lake—about a 2‑minute walk—was great, and the property had a trampoline and climbing frame for kids that were awesome. The landlord’s checks were unobtrusive, and overall it was very nice. There is nothing to complain about.

The location is right on the lake and the bike path in front of the door, the pub is directly opposite, and it’s centrally situated with many attractions and parking right in front of the premises. The only issue was the very narrow, steep staircase in the top‑floor flat.

The host was friendly and went above and beyond when we left—she moved our laundry to a covered drying area as rain started, which was much appreciated. The beds were comfortable and the setting lovely. The shower required stepping up and was a bit slippery, there was no heating or cooling, and a fan would have helped.
