Great location for walking Offa's Dyke. Welcoming staff, nice rooms. We ate a good dinner in the bar. Everything we needed after a long day walking. Breakfast coffee was a bit weak but the young woman doing everything bent over backwards to make another pot!

Great location, beautiful room and excellent welcome. Staff are so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing and the steak was the best I've had. Would 100% recommend. Looking forward to a return trip.

The people are delightful - friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The restaurant was excellent and the breakfast magnificent. Good location for our journey. There was nothing I didn't like but our room was quite compact

The spot was convenient, and I liked having water bottles after a long walk. The restaurant’s food felt pricey, offered few vegetarian choices, and most dishes came with chips. Breakfast left me disappointed—Eggs Benedict had shells inside and no toast, even though there were plenty of jam bottles on the table.

Everything about the place was solid—staff, room, and breakfast all good. The only gripe was that the Wi‑Fi dropped a couple of times.
