“Good solid 7”

I landed on a solid 7.5ish bed that finally let me sleep well, and the front desk lady was very friendly. I snagged a 15% discount with Dennys, everything worked fine and was clean. The AC is effective, but if you put a chair in front of it, it will block the airflow and blow directly into your face at night. I wouldn’t say the place is new; the carpet had some black holes, the AC needed a push to start, and the door didn’t fit properly, but it’s not terrible. No bugs were found on the second floor.

The motel in Benson’s quiet outskirts, wrapped in a nostalgic, soft breeze, offered a perfect space and time for my stay. I went to the neighboring Dennys for breakfast, where the atmosphere was great and a beautiful female staff member treated me kindly. Benson is the best place.

“Just wanted to get out as quick as I could. I just needed to rest for the night and move on.”

The place looked very dated and dingy, and the odor was only hidden by too much cleaning product. The carpets were really old. I think the beds had been upgraded; they were comfortable. I couldn’t get the TV to work, and when I called the desk I was left on voicemail and couldn’t reach anyone. Instead of calling the desk, you call someone’s personal number. There isn’t a phone in the room or anything.

“Sauber aber Geruchsintensiv”

The room was large, the lady at the front desk was very friendly, and overall it was clean. There is a 15 % discount at Denny’s next door if you show your room key. The room was very sparsely furnished, basically the bare minimum even for a motel. There was also a very unpleasant smell that you couldn’t get rid of by airing it out (as much as a motel can) or using the air‑conditioner. It was so strong that we stored our belongings in the car to avoid the odor on our clothes.

“Overall, we would stay there again. Staff was nice, beds were more comfortable, room was clean.”

The front‑desk lady was extremely nice and helpful—sweet, hardworking, and older. The beds turned out to be more comfortable than they looked. There was no free breakfast for a standard‑priced room. The room needs some updates, like the carpet; it’s old and stained. They had vacuumed it, it just needs to be updated or at least shampooed. Everything else was clean; the room is older style, maybe from the 1990s.
