The accommodation offers incredible views of the Peñol and is great for spending the night and enjoying the scenery, but the value for money is not as good as expected.

The room has good facilities, yet the reception was the most inhospitable we've encountered anywhere, especially in Colombia; check‑in was chaotic and slow, with no communication about essential details and repetitive, trivial WhatsApp exchanges. The location is terrible, far from the village and the rock, unless you drive yourself or wait a long time for tuk‑tuks, as walking isn’t viable. The hotel felt like a pricey youth hostel rather than a private luxury retreat, evidenced when other guests started blasting loud music at around 10:30 pm, waking us up; instead of fixing it, the hotel offered a series of excuses for an hour until we insisted that loud music is illegal in rural Colombia. Checkout was a disaster – the reception was empty, so we just left, only to discover we couldn’t depart for hours because the roads were closed and we weren’t informed. A joke of a hotel.

The view is amazing, the cabins are spacious, the massage is great, and the mattresses are good; however, staff are often absent, there is no dining service, no hot water, and the jacuzzi is not obvious to use.

The location is great (though many other options exist in the same area) and the views are nice, but the communal areas look half‑abandoned and deserted, and the photos don’t match the reality; we couldn’t use one bathroom because it smelled awful, and the staff replied that we could use the other one. Considering the price paid (and we were a group of four), the response was unexpected.

Everything was excellent: Jeferson’s service, Don William’s friendliness, the facilities, the view, the food—all spectacular, and from arrival to the rooms there was free coffee, which added value. Highly recommended, Lidys.
