“Eine schöne ruhige Unterkunft umgeben von Dampfloks und Historie”

We stayed in a room in the Lokschuppen, which was brand new and spotless. The beds had good, fairly firm mattresses and the bathroom featured a nice shower. We also had a view of one of the displayed wagons and access to the grounds beyond the opening hours. It was very quiet at night, even though the active part of the Pasewalker station borders the property. A large bike garage is available for cyclists, and there are plenty of spots to charge an e‑bike. The only downside was that a smoke detector was missing and was located in the hallway.

I had to look for the breakfast room, it wasn’t marked. The breakfast itself was okay but could be improved, and it was worth noting that coffee was refilled at no extra cost.

This place is a one‑of‑a‑kind spot for overnight stays, with a well‑equipped room that even has a small kitchen. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and the staff were courteous and helpful. As a guest you’re allowed to roam freely around the premises and inside the train shed, which is especially nice at night. There’s a large bike shed where you can charge your Accu‑bikes, and bike parking spots are also available at the shed. The only downside is that the informational signs in the train shed are old and sometimes hard to read.

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and everything was spotless and tidy. The walk to the accommodation has its own charm, but at night the outside lighting made my room feel bright.
