“Placed in a double hut with a communication door…”

The spot is great—perfect views and sunsets, and the staff are friendly. The restaurant is nice for dinner, and the shower and bed are very good. The breakfast buffet feels very limited for the price we paid. We ended up in the only hut that had a door connecting to another one, which is unacceptable for a lodge that promises individual huts and privacy. If there are no families to assign to cabins 19/20, you should never put a guest who paid the same as the other huts. Very disappointing.

“Spectacular! Book it!”

The setting, view, and accommodation are simply stunning—absolutely worth it! It’s close to everything you want to see and do, and hot air ballooning is a must. The staff were lovely. But with the rates you charge, you really need a proper coffee machine! Nespresso pods in the rooms and a bean‑to‑cup machine for the lodge would be great for cappuccino. The Wi‑Fi was shocking—my grandson was undergoing open‑heart surgery and we couldn’t even connect.

“Einzigartig”

Die Desert Hills Lodge war wohl das schönste Quartier auf unserer Namibia Rundreise. Die Lage und der Ausblick ist genial. Den Sonnenuntergang auf der eigenen Terrasse genießen mit Wahnsinnsausblick auf die Berge
