I booked a room for 2 adults and 2 kids, so I expected a sofa bed for the children given the price, but that was missing and left me disappointed.

The location on the bank of West Lake in expansive gardens is stunning, the staff were very attentive, and breakfast in the Café was generous and fresh; our room was well appointed, but the bed’s synthetic underlay was hot and uncomfortable to sleep on, though the two pillow options were a nice touch—otherwise the hotel is outstanding.
