“Great location for Pompeii ruins.”
A lovely little hotel with nice décor, helpful and friendly staff, and a simple breakfast. There are plenty of local restaurants, bars, shops, take‑aways, and cafés nearby, and it’s just a 2‑minute walk to the entrance of Pompeii. However, it’s not at the main entrance by the train station; it’s located outside the entrance called Piazza Anfiteatro (Piazza Immacolata), which is quieter and less busy. If you’re arriving by train, you’ll need to get off at Pompeii City stop—not Pompeii ruins stop. The city stop is about a 10‑minute walk, which is scenic and lets you see the main town square and big churches. The only downside is that it’s hard to find and not well sign‑posted from the road.
