I stayed at a brand‑new hotel with very comfortable beds and spacious rooms, and the receptionist was extremely helpful in arranging excursions. The bus to Belize City dropped us right in front of the hotel and picked us up again when we left. The large, well‑maintained pool was a great spot for many birds to cool off. The only downside was that it’s a bit out of San Ignacio’s center; you need a taxi, which takes about 10 minutes from downtown.

“Comfortable clean rooms and great hospitality”

I had a fantastic stay at this family-run hotel in western Belize. The rooms were spotless and equipped with all the essentials, making it a convenient base for exploring the area. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, and the pool was a great place to unwind after a day of excursions. The management, Allen and Diane, were incredibly hospitable and went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable.

“Located right on the George Price highway and close to the areas we wanted to visit made this a nice fit for us”

I was impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendly staff at this hotel. However, I was disappointed to find that there was no elevator, which could be a challenge for guests with mobility issues. Despite this, the hotel's location and amenities made for a pleasant stay.

“Horrible le plus mauvais hôtel de mon voyage”

Unfortunately, my experience was marred by several issues, including the hotel's noisy location between a busy road and an empty lot. My room was unimpressive, with a cracked window, exposed pipes, and a broken drawer. The pool's pump was extremely loud, and the staff was unfriendly. The minimalist breakfast was overpriced and disappointing, with instant coffee, overcooked scrambled eggs, and no fruit juice, which was particularly noticeable given the hotel's near-empty state.

“Wonderful staff made it feel like staying with family (that you like)”

The staff at this hotel were truly exceptional, going above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The owner even drove me into town one evening, and the front desk staff were always happy to help. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the chef was accommodating of my food allergies, even making special dishes for me. However, the hotel is a bit of a drive from town, and there's no elevator, so be prepared to plan ahead.
