The staff were helpful. The lighting in the dining room was poor, making it almost impossible to read a newspaper, for example.

The beds were comfortable, though I would have preferred a double. The staff were very helpful with local information. The shower and other facilities were good. I didn’t have breakfast.

A nice, simple hotel within walking distance of downtown Leeuwarden. The bathroom floor is higher than the bedroom floor, so you have to be careful not to trip when going to the bathroom.
