“Lovely camping on the river in a roomy warm tent.”

The private setting was beautiful and the owner responded quickly; we loved it. Since this is a camping spot, bring your own linens and expect a rustic experience far from everything. Make sure you have a car with clearance for the rocky road down to the site. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, with propane but no electricity, so we cooked over the campfire. The shower setup only allows a quick in‑and‑out with warm water and isn’t suitable for a longer shower.

The views were spectacular, the accommodations were solid, and the atmosphere was great. The facilities were just what you’d expect. Host Rita was very patient and gracious, explaining all the site’s features and amenities clearly.

“A wonderful getaway.”

Rita was extremely welcoming and made our short visit comfortable. The drive down to the property felt a bit scary, so a 4‑wheel drive is necessary.

“Excellent!”

Rita was wonderful! She texted a couple of days before arrival to let us know what was at the campsite. Communication was good from start to finish. The site was exactly what we wanted: secluded on the river, clean, and beautiful. We’re glad we had an SUV to reach the campsite.
