“La mejor estancia en Battambang”
Anut is an exceptional person who spreads joy and positivity. It was my first time staying in a homestay and the experience was spectacular. The best choice in Battambang. Thank you so much, Anut, for this great experience. Everything is perfect.

The host is a very warm and friendly woman who tries to make the stay as pleasant as possible. She runs a restaurant on the upper floor with excellent (even vegetarian!!) evening cuisine, so you don’t have to go far. The rooms have no windows and are ventilated only by air conditioning. Every three rooms share a bathroom and a small kitchenette with a kettle that is cleaned daily. That’s fine, but beware of mosquitoes!
The garden is nice, the room is clean, and you can rent a motorbike or wash clothes for 1$/kg—everything you need is there. The soul of this guest house is Anut, of course! She is kind, full of stories, and incredibly knowledgeable. She always has a kind word and takes time for you, even when she’s busy.

Everything. Anut is exceptional, very helpful, speaks English fluently, and gives great advice. We couldn’t try her restaurant because she had to close it due to lack of customers (Middle East war). The accommodation is very good quality for the price, and Battambang really deserves to be visited. Nothing. We liked everything.

Fabulous stay at Bar And, highly recommended! The owner Anut is the most fabulous and warm person imaginable, she has so much information and really enhanced our stay in Battambang. She gave us ideas of things to do and showed us around, we felt very well taken care of. Her warm welcome and great sense of humor really made staying at Bar Ang a top choice. We were there for 9 nights (!), for a volunteer project in Battambang and the location was very convenient for that. It is also close to the circus (several shows a week, definitely go if you have time). Anut has created a beautiful garden to sit in for the guests and we were also allowed to sit upstairs in the restaurant - very cool there. In the weekend she organised a wonderful full day tour with Mr Soon, also highly recommended, an interesting and knowledgeable tour guide. There are several small shops and laundry across the road. You can walk into the town center but also take a tuktuk for only USD1. The toilets and shower were cleaned every day, excellent. We chose the room at the front which is very spacious but slightly more noise from the street, for us this was fine. The owner warned us in advance about this, so no issues there. Dear Anut thank you for the wonderful stay, we miss you and Cambodia a lot!. During our stay Anut could not cook, but we heard she is a great cook, so we hope to try that out next time we visit! Her restaurant was rated nr1 on trip advisor!
