The hotel is of a manageable size, well maintained, and thoughtfully detailed. The sauna and wellness area are nice, the pool is a highlight. Breakfast and dinner are appealing, and the small lunch snack with homemade cake is tasty.

The location is excellent: although it’s on the edge of Dorfgastein, it sits right next to the Fulseck cable car and the bus terminus that runs regularly through the Gastein Valley, and with the free Mobility Card you can easily leave the car behind. We enjoyed a spacious double room to ourselves, complete with a balcony that offered mountain views and a side view into the valley, a solid breakfast buffet, afternoon cake, and in the half‑board evenings a starter buffet followed by a three‑course dinner with two menu options. The team, especially the two waitresses, the waiter, and the cleaning lady, were very kind and helpful. My only disappointment was that I had expected a larger pool.

Everything :) A women’s sauna would be nice. Otherwise everything is perfect!
