The room was nice, clean, and in a quiet spot. The beach is just a two‑minute walk away, and if you want the livelier, upscale Pasikudah, it’s only a 15‑minute stroll—easy and safe, even after dark. A couple of very good restaurants are nearby, including one right on the beach, plus a few small shops. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and the garden is huge, beautiful, and well maintained. I felt warmly welcomed; a great place to unwind for a few days.

I was thrilled to stay here. The room was spacious, the bed super comfortable, and the breakfasts were fantastic; the staff took great care of me. Evenings on the terrace were lovely, and the separate entrance to the room gave me a sense of privacy and calm. Crows cawing is common along the northeast coast, but it didn’t bother me at all.

We booked a single night but ended up staying three. We were dealing with coughs and colds, and the kind host made delicious homemade soup that was spot‑on. She followed up with a herb‑infused steam bath from the garden. She really went out of her way to care for us in a sweet, attentive manner. The room was spacious, with a balcony offering a sea view, and the gardens were lovely. Kalkudah beach is a short walk away, mostly empty except for local fishermen. I highly recommend this spot if you want a peaceful beach escape; plenty of seafood restaurants are close by.

The property is very charming and welcoming, but what truly made our stay special was the owner—a wonderful, very kind, and always available person. It was a pleasure meeting her, and thanks to her we were able to discover and experience Sri Lankan culture up close. An authentic experience we’ll cherish.

Very clean and pretty cabanas, everything is there and the air‑conditioners work perfectly. The garden is nice, and the deserted sandy beach is not far. Cross the street and you’re essentially there. Breakfast is tasty and the hosts are friendly.
