Hotel Bergidyll - Riders Haven

The staff were very friendly and attentive. The location was top and parking was possible. The shared bathroom was well maintained; since I was alone, it felt almost like it was just for me. Breakfast was delicious, with great bread and fruit and a decent selection. Switzerland is just expensive.

I was new to self‑check‑in, but the instructions were sent by email in a very clear way, so I had no worries about getting into the room. The room itself was spacious and practical, and the station is close enough that whether I came by train or car I didn’t get lost. I also appreciated that parking was free.

“Für uns war der Aufenthalt so okay, da wir nur eine Nacht da waren.”

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Lage ist gut und nahe am Zentrum. Die Zimmer sind sauber und im Bad ist alles vorhanden, vom Duschmittel bis zur Body-Lotion. Mit dem Self- Check-In hatte ich etwas Mühe, vor allem funktionierte das Scannen der ID lange nicht richtig. Ich werde in einem Hotel immer noch gerne persönlich begrüsst. Den Preis finde ich für die Zimmer etwas zu hoch, da es keinen Luxus bietet. Die Hotelbar hatte auch schon vor 22.00h geschlossen also blieb ein Absackerl aus

“Nice hotel in a good location but our room was soooo small”

The hotel itself was lovely and the staff were friendly and genuinely helpful. The restaurant food was excellent. Our room was tiny, with nowhere to put bags without blocking bathroom access or walking around the bed – I could have touched all four walls at once while lying down. I was very disappointed for the money we paid.
