We really enjoyed our 4‑night stay. The hosts Debbie and Nigel gave us a wonderful friendly welcome. The rooms were excellent with very comfortable beds and a generous hospitality tray. Breakfast was delicious home‑cooked fare with locally sourced ingredients and plenty of options. We got a lot of helpful local information about attractions. We’re looking forward to another visit soon!

The hosts and the BnB are amazing; I can’t find anything wrong. The room was clean and spacious. Tea and coffee in the room were a bonus, and Debbie made sure we always had enough milk and the like. Breakfast was perfect: fruit salad, toast, a full English breakfast, all locally sourced and of great quality. Both Debbie and Nigel made our stay the best possible. I came with my son, who felt so welcome. The location was ideal for us because we had a wedding to attend locally. Nothing at all to complain about.

Debbie and Nigel were absolutely wonderful hosts. They were interesting to chat with, but I could see they would give guests space if they didn’t want to. Breakfast was exceptional, with homemade bread and marmalade and potatoes dug up from the garden that morning. There were thoughtful touches like a jar of biscuits in the room and a thermos of milk for tea. The place is well located, within easy walking distance of a couple of good pubs. We live in the US but were visiting family near Blagdon, and it was the perfect village stay. I think people not from the UK will get the ideal English village experience. Nothing.

The stay was absolutely pleasurable, thanks to the fantastic hosts and the wonderful location; they were so warm and welcoming that I’ll definitely come back.
