A rural mountain stay with decent breakfast, the option to dine out, and cheap laundry services. I drove in with a 4×4, and when I tried to exit I had to pull the handbrake because the brakes failed while I was constantly pressing the automatic pedal. They should enable a parking spot at the entrance and let you pick it up.

The first night in Costa Rica was perfect. The location is beautiful and Mark and Annabelle were warm and welcoming. I absolutely loved the on‑site dinner and breakfast!

The cabin is in a beautiful mountain setting and very comfortable. The owner Mark is charming and arranged an amazing rafting trip on the Pacuaré.
