“Prinzessin und Prinz willkommen”

I don’t know what else to say… it’s a castle! The two owners were there from arrival to departure, always friendly, and they had a translator on hand for French. The room was huge, with a canopy bed, a fantastic shower with rain, and the place was newly renovated while still keeping the castle charm with an old fireplace and plaster. Breakfast—just the two of us—had honey, caramel cream, salty butter, three kinds of homemade jam, dried ham, and a whole block of Comté. Croissants and baguettes were wow! Thanks for the short but great stay, everything was ready for a princess and prince. When we first drove up, we were a bit shocked because the exterior looked really “used” and the paint from the picture was still missing, but you’re staying inside, so it’s fine, and that’s what matters.

We loved the views and the walks around the chateau where deer roamed the nearby fields. Breakfast was exceptional, with amazing homemade preserves that set us up perfectly for the day. Veronique was the ideal hostess, and Bernard spoke perfect English, making communication a breeze. The location was perfect and tranquil. Everything else was great.
