The comfort and visual style were oddly striking. There was a shower in an outdoor courtyard! The property is well‑situated and the spa, though basic, is included in the price. The courtyard shower, the very old and uncomfortable bed, and the overall feel were disappointing.

“Ancient and dumpy”

There wasn’t much to praise. The bright colors and wall hangings were pretty. The bed sagged, the cement floors were uneven, and decades of dirt accumulated in the cracks. The bathroom was tiny and barely fit in an unlit shower. The soap and shampoo shelf was so high it was unusable. The curtains were worn and didn’t block light. The “spa” was a tall cement tub you fill from a spigot in a dimly lit closet—too sketchy to try! We’ve stayed all over the world and this is our first 1‑star review. The whole town feels depressing and decrepit. Don’t waste your money.

The staff was great. The private baths were perfect. I can’t think of anything negative.

“Great soak, great staff, but the rooms were tired.”

We liked the spa and the eclectic courtyard area. The decor was vibrant and fun. The booking site only showed photos of the exterior doors, not the actual rooms. While the room continued the eclectic vibe, the furnishings were a bit tired.

“Super Cute”

I liked that it felt more like a Casita than a hotel room—super cute! The mineral bath was a short 5‑10 minute drive from the room, but it was totally worth it. The bed was a little hard for me, but my partner loved it. There is no TV in the bedroom.
