The courtyard view was pretty. The room was warm. Coffee and tea (and Greek!!!) were available 24/7. The breakfast was average for me. The owner was courteous and tried hard to help, but the space felt very cramped. You couldn't move through the dining room‑living room‑reception (3‑in‑1) without bothering someone or disturbing a seated guest. The room’s cleanliness definitely needed work. The light fixture had no bulb, and the window socket didn’t work, causing phone charging issues, etc. There was no table—small or otherwise—and no chair. A sofa was in an indefinite cleaning state. The stairs were a problem for luggage. The dining area was tiny for a 3‑in‑1 setup. I almost panicked over the lack of a hair dryer; I’d forgotten to check the amenities when booking—my mistake! I never had that before.

Nice guesthouse in a quiet spot, very close to the center of Karpenisi. The host was outstanding! Breakfast surpassed our expectations! Great value for money!!! I recommend it without hesitation!
