You feel at home! A small, human‑sized guesthouse with a very attentive host. The place is warm, has a little courtyard garden, and the traditional host house across the street, just 2 minutes from a supermarket. I highly recommend it, especially for the value for money around Biwako.

The hosts were incredibly kind. My friend and I booked the last two beds—one in the women's room and one in the mixed room—and the hosts arranged for us to stay together. We got the upper bunks on the mezzanine, and the layout turned into a very cozy two‑person room. The place is intimate, so there aren’t many guests, and the hosts are very warm, making it feel like home even for just two nights. Plus, the host crafts charming handmade items.
