The staff were friendly and pleasant. The hotel isn’t fancy but is well maintained. The buffet breakfast offered many options. The public bath is nice but quite small, so it gets crowded when many people are there; you can skip the busy times and enjoy it alone.

The hotel is centrally located as a base for Hitachi sightseeing and is very convenient. The facilities themselves are old, but they’re working hard to renovate them; I didn’t feel any particular inconvenience or discomfort.

The large public bath was wonderfully refreshing and the single room was spacious and clean, though the walk from Hitachi‑Daga Station might feel a little far for some guests.

The breakfast was delicious and I appreciated the traveler’s bath. It would have been nicer if the bath were a bit larger, and having only one vanity made using the hair dryer inconvenient.
