I managed to get a room on short notice, but the clerk—who I think was the manager—had an attitude. She talked to me like I was one of her children, which was unacceptable for a grown man about to turn 50.

The dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed at. Sheets were on the floor, new ones were stained and dirty. There was mold in the shower, the tub drained slowly so water stood, and the carpet was the dirtiest I’ve ever seen.
