The photos misled me. The shared bathroom was large but many fixtures were broken—the toilet brush was unusable, the towel hangers were rusty, and the kitchen cupboards were damaged; even the cups were shattered, creating a total disaster. The room itself only had a bed and an inexplicable armchair, and the pillows felt cheap and worn. I regret booking this room because it looked proper in the pictures. I knew there would be a shared bathroom and kitchen, but I didn’t anticipate this level of decay. I understand it was cheap, but I felt like I was paying for broken items.

The location is close to Merseyrail station.

The place was ideal for a short stay—safe, warm, comfortable, and quiet, with good amenities including a kitchen and bathroom, and it offered great value. I recommend it. The door locks could use a bit of maintenance, and parking permits were in very short supply.
