We found the place exactly what we needed – quiet, surrounded by forest and impeccably clean despite being in the middle of the woods. The chalet came with a bathtub, a grill, fresh linens and a fan, which was a lifesaver in the heat. Breakfast used very fresh ingredients and the owners went out of their way to make us comfortable; I’ll definitely be back.

We drove all the way from Curitiba only to discover the listing was a phantom – there’s no actual property there. After contacting them on Instagram they confirmed they don’t have any location in Brazil, yet the listing is still online. A huge waste of time and fuel.
